Sweet savory Balsamic Glazed Grilled Chicken Legs with hint a fresh rosemary make for the perfect weekend grilling recipe. {Paleo & Gluten Free}

Do you have a dish that you just love to eat but you always forget to make it? Its like the recipe gets hidden in some secret recipe vault until all of a sudden you see something that triggers your memory of that dish and all those satisfying flavor profiles come back to mind.

For some reason, I have forgotten about grilled chicken legs but.  Slathered with amazing sauce and then grilled to perfection, they are like the ultimate grill recipe that everyone should make at least once.

I was watching the Food Network the other day when this recipe escaped from recipe vault prison … and let me tell, I’m so glad it did.

These Balsamic Glazed Grilled Chicken Legs are marinated with sweet balsamic vinegar, garlic cloves, and fresh rosemary sprigs. Then thrown on the grill to give it a smoky flavor and charred to lock in all the juices. Its like a balsamic mustard rosemary bomb just explodes in your mouth as soon as you take that first bite.

I will warn you, once you start with these you won’t be able to stop! They are like lollipops but in savory chicken form! 🙂

To get started, in a small bowl add 1 tablespoon of gluten free mustard, 1 tablespoon of chopped fresh rosemary, 1 minced garlic clove, 1/4 cup of balsamic vinegar, salt & pepper, and 1/2 cup of olive oil.

  1. These look delicious. I tend to grill boneless, skinless chicken breasts. Dh would absolutely love these as he prefers legs. Will give these a try soon.

  2. This chicken is grilled to perfection! We used to use salad dressing to marinade our chicken (and tofu) before grilling. Then we discovered balsamic vinegar and were hooked! Pinning this for use all summer long!

    I thought I’d try these since I love rosemary/mustard/balsamic flavors and my little boys like chicken legs. They LOVED LOVED LOVED them! They asked to have it again in less than a week.
