Greetings Krista…. Your recipe for carrot and zucchini bread looks good. Instead of using one cup of regular flour, can I substitute it with one cup of Whole Wheat Flour instead . I see the recipe does call for 1/2 cup of Whole Wheat flour but can I just use Whole Wheat flour throughout the entire recipe ?

    Thankx

Absolutely! It might not rise as much but you can definitely do that… or you could use White Whole Wheat Flour {I have been using that in all my baking recently} Hope you like it Robert!

    Hi Krista,

I love your recipes because my husband is a picky eater and your food is the perfect combination of healthy yet normal (in a good way!) I started using plantoeat.com to make weekly meal plans and find myself adding a lot of recipes from your site to my database! Especially the sides. Quick question though. Since I halved the amounts for roasted potato, asparagus, honey carrots, and squash, how long should I really roast it now? Thank you for your time.

      Hey Sydney!
You seriously just made my day, thank you so much for your sweet comments! I love that you are enjoying my recipes AND that your husband is too! 🙂 In regards to your question, even though you halved the amounts of the vegetables you still need to cook it the same amount of time because that is what it takes to cook the vegetable all the way through. 🙂 Hope that helps! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hello, Love your site and the pictures of your son turning 2! I can’t seem to find the cupcake recipe. When it said get recipe, it just goes back to the party info. Thanks!! Susan

Thanks so much Susan, that means alot! That “get the recipe” is an automated line embeded in my website. On this particular post I didn’t include a recipe, it was just specifically me sharing that birthday party.

But the recipe was super simple. I just used duncan hills chocolate fudge cake mix and instead of the vegetable or canola oil I used coconut oil, I followed the rest of the directions on the box. For the strawberry whipped cream topping I got from Sallys Baking Addiction – just go to her site and then search for the fresh strawberry cupcakes. They were delicious! Hope that helps… let me know if you need anything else!

    Hi there,

I found your website via pintrest and I am very intrigued and excited about the recipes you offer, very wholesome and look delicious!

Do you offer the caloric count on your recipes? If you do, I did not see it on the recipes listed.

    Thank you in advance,

    Donna

      Hey Donna,
So happy that you found me Donna, currently I do not have calorie counts because I have to enter all the ingredients manually to get the counts, but I seriously considering starting to do it moving forward. I have had quite a few people ask recently, so stay posted. 🙂

In the mean time, did you have one in mind that I can get a calorie count for you?

      Krista 🙂
