Easy & Healthy Frozen Yogurt Recipe
Do you ever get sucked into aimless searching on the internet? It’s like a vortex!
There are so many places to look. You can open endless tabs, hop around where ever you want – sports, Facebook, recipes, home searches (oh and now I want to go to fiji) … it’s information overload and allows a person that may not have A.D.D. to act like it … bouncing around from one site to another!
Why do I say this?
Because I got suckered into the internet vortex! We are going on a Wine Country trip with friends at the end of June, so naturally we are trying to find a place to stay. Turns out it’s not as easy as you’d think, apparently it HIGH season so every place is booked or the prices are jacked through the roof.
Sigh …
I just keep looking, hoping, praying .. we will find something cute, quant, in town, and at a reasonable price! So needless to say, every time I get on the internet to work on my blog I get distracted … Big Time!
First I go to hotels.com then homeaway.com and then I start looking at picture after picture …. send help!
Luckily the only thing that is keeping me sane during this intense search is the fact that I’m going to Wine Country! Eek!!! Cannot wait!
I also can’t wait for you guys to try out this Healthy Lemon Raspberry Frozen Yogurt!
Yup it’s that time of year again… when swimsuits will be the only thing you wear all day and you’ll alternate between popsicles or frozen yogurt to keep you cool in the hot summer heat. (or maybe that’s just me because I live in HOUSTON which is horrendously hot!)
Why I Love This Homemade Frozen Yogurt
We are addicted to Fro-Yo over here. Especially this recipe! It’s light, incredibly refreshing and, on the dessert scale, ranks on the healthy side! Woohoo!
Plus it’s crazy easy to make at home! Like literally 5 minutes ya’ll. You throw everything in a blender or food processor, blend until smooth and you’re done!
This Lemon Raspberry Frozen Yogurt is sweet, tart, and loaded with fresh berry flavor! Me and little man devoured these cones after I shot the photos…. and maybe licked the pan afterwards too! Shhh….
Guilt free. Incredibly Satisfying and pure perfection in the summer heat! You need to give this Frozen Yogurt a try. I guarantee you’ll be running your own Fro-Yo shop out of the house after your first bite!
Bon Appetit sweet friends (get it … SWEET friends… haha) Ok, bye!

I love love love tart and sour but I must’ve done something wrong because this was SOUR SOUR. I didn’t taste any sweet. Could I be doing something wrong🤔
It is meant to be tart, and only slightly sweet. If you’d like it more sweet I’d recommend adding maybe 1/3 cup of honey.
This was super lemony. I agree with the above poster. I might cut the lemon in half next time. The taste of the raspberries was lost. I am a big fan of lemon flavor so I was really excited for this recipe. My kids didn’t like it at all.
Hey Tanya, yup it is meant to be tart and have both a strong lemon and strong raspberry flavor. I’m sorry the kiddos didn’t like it. 🙁
I would change this the next time I make it, First of all, I would blend the strawberries then put them through a strainer to get the seeds out and the other item would be to reduce the lemon, but next time no lemon zest and only 1/4 cup of juice I used my InstantPot Ace blender on the Frozen Desserts setting and it did a great job; however, it would have worked better with thawed berries. Thank goodness for the Pause button.
Thanks for your feedback Cherie!
This looks so yummy!! My kiddos would love it too!
Can I make a bigger batch of this to keep in the freezer for awhile? It looks SO refreshing!
absolutely!
Really liked the idea of this recipe as I had a lot of raspberries from the garden to use up but I found the lemon way too strong. Next time I think I’ll miss out the zest.
Oh, I”m sorry to hear that Jess. Yes, if you thought it was too strong definitely cut back. To each his/her own. 🙂
Just made this with my 4 year old to bring to my other in laws, can NOT wait to try it( the unfrozen samples were amazing!) Serving with lemon coffee cake. Thank you!!

ahhh… thanks so much Des!
I want to eat this all summer long!! Love the lemon with it!
The lemon totally takes this yogurt up a notch!
Do you use nonfat, low fat or regular Greek yogurt.? Many recipes for frozen yogurt state to use regular fat Greek yogurt as its consistency is better when frozen, however I usually have only nonfat on hand.
Can’t wait to make my own frozen yogurt throughout the summer! Pictures are amazing and looks delicious!
I use regular Greek yogurt because of the consistency AND taste. 🙂 Hope you like it Heather!
The colours on this are so gorgeous, I just had to pin!
Thank you os much Carolyn!
My freezer is abundant with last summer’s raspberry pickings. This recipe will help to consume some in way of a healthy treat! Did you use full, low or fat-free greek yogurt? Thanks so much!
Ohhh I’m jealous! I wish my freezer was full of raspberries! 🙂 And I used full fat Sharon, in general I don’t use anything low fat because of the stuff they add to make it low fat.
How do you make it I can’t find the ingredients
Hey Tati, you just need to scroll down to the end of the post. The recipe card is there with ingredients and directions.
