Today is a special post. For one, you get an awesome frozen yogurt recipe and two we are celebrating a sweet friend of mine!

Samantha from Five Heart Home is one of the first blog friends I met! We started our blogs around the same time so instantly we clicked we were both wandering in the blogging wilderness. This homemade frozen yogurt recipe has only five ingredients a done in five minutes! No need for an ice cream maker, everything just gets thrown into the blender. You could eat right after blending it, if you like a soft serve style. Or throw it in the freezer for a harder consistency!

This healthy Strawberry Basil Frozen Yogurt recipe is perfect for cooling you down this summer. It’s made in 5 minutes with only 5 ingredients and it’s naturally sweetened!

Ingredients

  • 16 oz. frozen whole strawberries
  • 3/4 cup plain greek yogurt
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 5 fresh basil leaves

Instructions

  1. To a blender add, strawberries, greek yogurt, honey, lemon juice, and basil leaves.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Serve immediately or for a more solid consistency place in an air tight container and put in freezer for 1-2 hours.
