This Strawberry Shortcake Trifle is the perfect summer dessert recipe. It also makes a great Fourth of July treat with its fresh red & blue fruits. So refreshing and yummy!



  • 1 pre-made angel food bundt cake, cut into 1” cubes {purchase in bakery section of local grocery store}
  • 16 oz. of strawberries, hulled & sliced into 1/4” slices
  • 1 pint of blackberries
  • 16 oz. of cool whip


  1. Cut up one premade angel food bundt cake and slice strawberries.
  2. In a large Trifle bowl or large glass bowl, line the bottom with 1/3 of the cubed angel food cake until you can no longer see the bottom. This is your first layer.
  3. Next layer, spread 1/3 of a 16 oz. container of cool whip to completely cover the angel food cake layer.
  4. Next layer, line 1/3 of strawberries and blackberries on top of the cool whip.
  5. Continue with the layering process of angel food cake, cool whip, and then strawberries & blackberries. {you will probably end up doing 3 total layers}
