Description
This Lemon Garlic Pasta is a 15-minute dinner elevated enough for a date night, but it’s made with a short and simple list of ingredients!

- 1 lb spaghetti noodles
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 – 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 1 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
- 1/4 cup finely chopped parsley
- salt & pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Bring a pot of water to a boil. Season the water with salt. Add your spaghetti to the water and cook until al dente acorrding to package instructions.
- In the meantime, heat a large skillet to medium heat.
- Add in olive oil and butter. Once the butter in melted, add garlic, red pepper flakes and lemon zest. Saute the garlic for 2 minutes, stirring the entire time so you don’t burn.
- Once the noodles are cooked. Reserve 1 cup of the cooking liquid. Drain the rest and add the noodles to the pan with the garlic and butter.
- To the pan with noodles add parmesan cheese, lemon juice and reserved cooking liquid. Using a pair of tongs, gently toss the noodles, the cheese will start to melt and the noodles will be coated in the lemon garlic parmesan mixture. Season with salt and pepper, toss the noodles again.
- Garnish with parsley and serve.
