Description

This easy baked brie with fig jam recipe is the perfect holiday appetizer with caramelized honey, walnuts, and sliced apples.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 round of brie cheese
  • 12 tablespoons raw honey, drizzle
  • 23 tablespoons of fig jam
  • 1/3 cup of walnuts, finely chopped
  • fresh herbs: chopped rosemary and chives
  • 1 baguette loaf, sliced
  • optional: sliced apples

Instructions

For Toasted Baguettes:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. 
  2. Arrange baguette slices in a single layer. Spray with cooking spray.
  3. Bake for 8-10 minutes, until lightly browned. Remove bread from the oven and let rest.

Fig Jam Brie:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Place the round of brie on baking sheet. Score the brie with a knife.
  4. Drizzle the top of the brie round with raw honey.
  5. Evenly spread fig jam on top.
  6. Bake for 15 -18 minutes.
  7. Top with walnuts, rosemary, chives and more honey if you’d like. Serve with toasted baguettes or slices of apple.
  8. Place figs on baking sheet and top each with a drizzle of olive oil.
