Description

The Only Turkey Burger Recipe you’ll ever need! Learn how to make tender juicy turkey patties that won’t dry out after you sear them on the grill. Top with your favorite fixings for the perfect dinner!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs. ground turkey meat
  • 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1/3 cup finely diced red onion
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. To a large bowl add ground turkey, almond flour, eggs whites, dried parsley, cumin, red onion, garlic, black pepper and salt.
  2. Using your hands mix until well combined. Form into 6-8 patties.
  3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat, approximately 375-400°F.
  4. Place burgers on the grill and grill each side for 4-6 minutes. Burgers are done when internal temperature reaches 165°F (poultry should never be served under this).

Notes

  • Makes 6-8 burgers.
  • To Store & Reheat: Cooled turkey patties can be refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat them in a 375°F oven or toaster oven for about 3 minutes per side, or until their internal temperature registers at 165°F. Place a pan on the rack below the patties to catch any potential drippings.
  • To Freeze: It’s best to freeze the patties before you grill them as cooked ones will dry out. Flash-freeze the discs on a baking sheet lined with parchment or wax paper. Once they’re firm (about 30 minutes), wrap each patty in a tight layer of plastic wrap and store them in a freezer-safe container for up to 2 months. Thaw out frozen patties in the fridge before grilling.
