Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Jalapeños

This smokey, stuffed jalapenos recipe with crispy bacon and a cilantro-cream cheese filling is an easy Tex-Mex appetizer.


  • 14 jalapeños, seeded and halved
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese cheese
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 16 pieces of bacon, halved


  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Line a baking sheet with tinfoil. Remove seeds and membranes from jalapeños using a spoon. Unless you want your jalapenos with more of a kick, then leave them in.
  3. To a small bowl, add cream cheese, cheddar cheese, salt, and garlic powder. 
  4. Add cream cheese mixture into each jalapeño half. 
  5. Wrap each stuffed jalapeño half with half a slice of bacon and secure with toothpick.
  6. Place jalapenos on lined baking sheet cheese side up. 
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until peppers are tender and bacon is crisp.
