This Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies recipe uses less unhealthy ingredients than any other! The best part is, they taste like a million bucks!



  • 11 tablespoons of unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup of light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/4 cup of flour
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 1 {10-12oz.} bag of dark chocolate chips


  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. In a stand mixer, add softened butter, white sugar, light brown sugar, and vanilla extract.
  3. Mix until creamy.
  4. Next add 2 eggs, one at a time. Continue to mix until smooth.
  5. In a medium size bowl, add flour, salt, ground cinnamon, and baking soda.
  6. Add the flour mixture to the stand mixer in 2 batches. Make sure all the flour is completely combined.
  7. Lastly add dark chocolate chips.
  8. Scoop batter onto baking sheet {I use a baking silicon mat as well, helps to not brown the bottom of the cookie}.
  9. Bake cookies for 8-10 minutes.
  10. Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
