This Lemon Parmesan Garlic Orzo is a simple pasta dish that even your husband can prepare! It’s made with fresh lemon, shredded parmesan and a touch of garlic.


  • 2 cups of orzo, uncooked
  • 3 T. olive oil
  • 1/2 cup shredded parmesan
  • 1 1/2 T. garlic powder
  • 2 T. lemon zest (2 lemons)
  • Juice of 2 lemons


  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add orzo.
  2. Cook until al dente. Drain orzo and place in bowl.
  3. Add lemon zest {about 2 lemons} to pasta.
  4. Then add olive oil, garlic powder, lemon juice, and salt & pepper.
  5. Mix all ingredients and top with shredded parmesan cheese.
