Description

This simple 20-minute recipe shows you how to grill the most succulent, mouthwatering chicken of all time! It features a classic garlic-lime spice rub that gives the meat amazing flavor, but you can season your Grilled Chicken Breast however you’d like.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of lime juice

Instructions

  1. Prepare grill: Preheat grill to medium-high heat, approximately 350-375°F.
  2. Make spice rub: In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, cumin, coriander, smoked paprika, sea salt, pepper, olive oil and lime juice. Mix until combined.
  3. Prep chicken: Add chicken to a large bowl, rub mixture over both sides of the chicken breast and let sit for 5-10 minutes.
  4. Grill: Place chicken on clean grill grates and grill each side for 4-6 minutes depending on thickness. Remove chicken when internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  5. Let rest & serve: Let your chicken rest for 5 minutes, then serve!

Notes

  • To Store: Keep cooled chicken in a shallow airtight container and refrigerate for up to 4 days.
  • To Reheat: Wrap each breast in aluminum foil along with a couple tablespoons of water or chicken broth, then bake at 250°F until internal temperature reaches 165°F. Let rest again before slicing.
  • To Freeze: Wrap cooled chicken tightly in freezer paper, plastic wrap or heavy-duty foil. Freeze wrapped chicken in a sturdy storage bag for up to 4 months, thawing in the fridge before reheating.
