Description

This cinnamon baked apple oatmeal is warm and cozy, packed with protein, and perfect for making ahead. All mixed in one dish, no bowl needed!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups of oats
  • 1/2 cup vanilla protein powder
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups oat milk
  • 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large apple, cored and diced
  • 1/31/2 cup roughly chopped walnuts
  •  

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. To a 8×8 baking dish add oats, protein powder, cinnamon, baking powder, nutmeg and salt. Whisk together until combined.
  3. Add in milk, applesauce, syrup and vanilla extract. Whisk until dry and wet ingredients are mixed together.
  4. Top with apples and walnuts.
  5. Baked for 30-40 minutes or until oatmeal has set. Remove from oven and let cool.
