Baked Apple Chips

Ingredients

  • 2 gala apples, thinly sliced (1/8″ with a mandolin)
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar

Instructions

  1. Slice apples into 1/8″ slices but using a mandolin for most accurate cuts or a knife. Remove any seeds.
  2. Place apple slices in a single layer on a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
  3. Mix sugar with cinnamon. Sprinkle the top of the apples with the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  4. Spray air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  5. Place seasoned apple slices in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air Fry for 15 minutes at 300°F, tossing every once in a while to ensure they don’t burn.
  6. Remove apple chips from the air fryer and allow to sit for a while so they crisp up even more.
  7. Repeat process until all apple slices are cooked.
  8. Serve.
