Fill a large bowl with water. Submerge the plank in the water for 30 minutes. Don’t skip this step. Set the grill to medium heat.
Place all of the salsa ingredients in a mixing bowl. Use a spoon to gently stir the ingredients together until well combined.
Pat the salmon dry with a paper towel. Place it on the plank with the skin side-down.
Prepare the spice rub. Whisk spices in a small bowl until well combined. Sprinkle the spice rub on top.
Place the cedar plank with salmon on top of the grill grates. Grill the salmon for 8-11 minutes,
Once the salmon is flaky to taste, remove it from the grill and let it sit for 2 minutes. Top with strawberry salsa and enjoy.
