Description

Juicy Slow Cooker Chicken Thighs are an easy weeknight dinner everyone will love! A delicious honey garlic sauce adds some Asian flavor.


Ingredients

Chicken Thighs:

  • 3 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Honey Garlic Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons of tamari
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 4 garlic clove, minced
  • 2 tablespoon chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Spray a 6 qt slow cooker with cooking spray.
  2. Season both sides of chicken thighs with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
  3. Place chicken thighs in the bottom of the prepared slow cooker.
  4. To small bowl add, honey, tamari, sriracha, ginger, smoked paprika, garlic cloves, and chicken broth. Whisk together until combined.
  5. Pour half  the mixture over the chicken thighs. Toss the chicken thighs to coat them in the sauce.
  6. Cook on HIGH for 2 -2.5 hours or on LOW for 4 hours – or until internal temperature is 165°F.
  7. Remove the chicken from the slow cooker and place on a tin foil lined baking sheet. Brush the remaining honey garlic sauce on the chicken thighs and place under the broiler for 3-4 minutes until lightly browned.
  8. Remove from the broiler and serve.
