It’s roundup time of the month again!
So, when I think of a holiday meal I usually think of the main course. How am I going to make the turkey for Thanksgiving this year?{did you know that in Texas they actually fry it whole!? weird.. i know} Should I make a Ham or Prime Rib for Christmas? Do I want to make it the day before or day of? So many different questions.
Now, I know that the main course is important when planning a holiday meal but in my opinion the side dishes are always the star! If you make the right ones they can steal the show and everyone will be asking you for “that” recipe at the end of the meal. I usually try to do two vegetable dishes, one starch, 1 salad, and one set of rolls or bread. During holiday meals traditional sides are a must, but I like to mix it up a bit and add something with a different take on it. Its always fun to experiment and see how things turns out!
So, in order to help you out this holiday season I put together an awesome roundup of 15 delicious Holiday Side Dish recipes.
Let’s get started!
