Well, it’s been a while. A week to be exact. I have missed you, but had to be away for a little bit. I had to do some overhaul work to make my blog “look pretty”, and switching blogging platforms in the process. It was hard (lots of frustration and crying involved) but so good and rewarding. It’s funny how when you are placed in a situation where you are forced to learn something, something good always comes out on other side. I have learned that facing my frustration head on and pushing through, instead of giving up, can result in some pretty cool stuff. I even learned some HTML code and CSS (computer talk) in the process, which I never thought I would. All in all, I hope you like my new design as much as I do. Anywho, back to the recipes.
In one of my posts, Roasted Lemon Basil Squash, I promised you a recipe. I’m hear to tell you, the wait is over. This Broiled Tilapia with Mustard Chive Sauce is absolutely amazing (so be sure to thank Giada De Laurentiis when you see her). It has a slight tart flavor from the Greek Yogurt, freshness from the lemon juice, and sweetness from the honey. It is soooo good and takes like 15 minutes to make! Winner Winner Fish Dinner. 🙂 Bon Appetite!
To get started, Preheat broiler to high. Season tilapia fillets on both sides with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Broil fish for 6-8 minutes or until cooked through. (if your fish easily flakes with a fork then it is done.) Set aside to cool for a bit.
In the meantime, mix together yogurt, honey, and mustard until smooth.
Whisk in the lemon juice and chives. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Season tilapia with a drizzle of the sauce over it.
