Grilled Sesame Lime Chicken with Spicy Thai Peanut Sauce

This Grilled Sesame Lime Chicken with Spicy Thai Peanut Sauce is a meal the family will go nuts for! I’m warning you to make a double batch of the sauce. You’re gonna need it!

Grilled Sesame Lime Chicken with Homemade Spicy Thai Peanut Sauce

Do you follow me on Instagram? If not you totally should! Not to toot my own horn. But if you DID follow me you would have seen my recent trip to Vegas and all the fun we had.

You would have also seen that I recently got a TATTOO!!!

And yes, I was coherent when I got it. I have been wanting one for a LONG LONG time!

Did you know that you can buy temporary tattoos on Etsy?

As in, you submit the design or wording you want to get and then you can “test” it out to make sure it’s what you like and want before you actually do it! That is exactly what I did. I ordered some temporary “tats” (I feel like I can say that now because I’m a tattoo wearing girl) and have been wearing them to solidify my decision.

So what did I get?

I wanted to get something personal. Something that would either remind me of who I am or who God is. A couple years ago, actually after our miscarriage, I felt like the Lord spoke the words “faithful” to me.

When I look back on the story of my life, all 32 years of it, I see God’s faithfulness in my life. He has never left me or forsaken me, he has never abandoned me. He is always been there, even though sometimes I felt like I was alone.

Through my mom drinking for four years – but then seeing the Lord pull her out of that into sobriety. My dad leaving our family almost leading to divorce – to God reconciling their marriage and now they celebrate 28 years. My own grappling with an all consuming fear of abandonment – to God breaking those chains and walking in freedom.

There are countless times that I can recall God faithfully entering the scene and putting his redemptive touch on the story.

Now, not all of those “significant” moments end in happy endings. We still struggle to have a child after three years. We’ve tried IVF and have been unsuccessful. But I still feel His presence and KNOW that God is faithful. The “present time” we live in is NOT the end of our story. He has plenty more yet written that we don’t know about. He is FAITHFUL to complete His work in us.

So now can you guess what I have?

Yet, it’s a tattoo that says “faithful” in Hebrew. It’s on my right wrist so when I look down I am reminded that He is faithful and to NEVER forget that!

Ok, moving away from tattoos to yummy drool worthy food.

I actually posted this GRILLED SESAME LIME CHICKEN WITH SPICY THAI PEANUT SAUCE back in 2014, but I love it so much I decided to re-photograph it and update the post to put it back in front of those beautiful eyes of yours again.

Why I Love This Grilled Chicken Recipe

I know you’re going to love it too. The nutty flavor from the chicken combined with the Spicy Thai Peanut Sauce will take you straight to Thailand in one bite. It is creamy, spicy, zesty and all together deliciously addicting. Let’s just say, make a double batch of the sauce and you’ll be one happy camper!

I served this recipe with the THAI MANGO AVOCADO SALAD I made last week and whoazer, what an amazing combination!

Bon Appetit friends!

This looks like a great recipe, but the calories are way off. I figured it out on my own, and it comes to almost 400 (398) for four servings.

    1. Hey Deirdre, where did you pull you info? I just ran mine against with the exact brands and ingredients and it’s actually a little more than what I originally stated but not by much.

  10. used PB2 powdered peanut butter and reduced water to 2T. ridiculously awesome. restaurant quality dish. thanks so much – will be a regular on our rotation for sure!

I have friends that I love to talk with, but every call is at least an hour. So, that there keeps me from calling. It’s awful and I feel terrible that I don’t keep in touch more often. I need to make a better effort.
Well, on the positive side this chicken looks so good! I’m thinking this is gonna be dinner :D. Pinning!

    1. Its definitely harder when you have kids, just hard to find the time but I’ve decided i just need to call in the moment and talk for the 10 minutes that I have, if I have to get off the phone early then thats fine at least I got to talk to that person. 🙂

So glad you loved this recipe girl, hope you get a chance to try it. Thanks for the pin!

I always psyche myself out of calling. Mostly the 10 minute issue, but then once connected, I always rehash the conversations and wonder if I said the right things, ya know? This peanut sauce…I’m sure I could drink it! I’m loving this recipe, Krista!

    1. haha!!! YES I know exactly what you are talking about, why can’t we just not over think things and let them happen? 🙂

Oh… girl.. you could totally drink this sauce… sooooo goood! 🙂
